Life’s Made Up Of… … …

Growing up is smt everyone go thru, from the day we are brought to earth till the day we die. People do change, thoughts change, everything changes in different stages of life. One big example will be friends around us.

We used to have next door neighbours as playmates, presch little kids as little frens, we graded our frens "best fren", "good fren", or "enermy" when we exchanged our diaries with our classmates in Primary sch. In secondary sch, we sticked tgt like honey n bee, toilet trip together "Teacher ,can WE go to the toilet?", we quarreled over minor things and stopped talking to each other for 2 days. When we grow slighly older, we realised close frens remain the first few we met in our junior yrs…

.

No matter what, i always tell myself, its how i see and inteprete things. To me, i do not need to meet up with my frens frequently because i noe all of us can be buzy with our everyday life, i do not need to noe every single detail of them because they do not have time to tell me all. All i need to noe is, i always have them in my mind, when i scroll down my hp messages seeing their names, i smile. And i always hope its the same on their side.

Be it a 2 hrs dinner meet up once every few months, or 2 sms exchanges saying Hi, I cherish the moment i spend with everyone. I guessed thats growing up.

Monday was fine, no work no Monday BLues…

The Bf is back from Sabah:) I  got called down for two job interviews:) Watched a generally nice movie, 10 000 Bc:) Nice chicken wings for dinner:)

Tuesday is a rainy day, from the second i opened my eyes, lying under my blankets, hearing the rain drops outside my window. Im having my interview later in the evening, hopefully, the rain stops (at least for a while). I hate to bring with me umbrella, n walking on wet slippery floor.

Hurr… Wat shd i say when the interviewer ask "Why did u leave ur previous work place?" Its like, the most typical Interviewing Que.. I really have got no answer for that. Maybe i shd juz smile n give a model ans "Oh, i wish to get more exposure in the diff areas of law." OR  "Erm, I would like concentrate better on this particular area".

Many pple told me, time flies without us noticing once we reached 21st of age… Thinking of it, it might be true. Once u reach 21st, especially if you start work, life will be monotonous. You will be celebrating your 25th B’day soon without realising another 5 yrs of your life had passed. Thats so scarry… Lets not think of 5 yrs, but 2 yrs down the road, wat will i be doing? The passed 1 yr had been work n tendering n working n thinking. Adapting to the real working life is terrible. I felt like i’ve grown up a lot in just 1 yr. I feel it in my frens too, The way they speak n their thoughts… No longer sch students.

Anyway, im still using my TP student pass for Mcdonalds, Bk, pizza Hut’s students meal! Wahaha… Cheater Cheater!!!

Today went back to TP with Xiao Hong.

Haha, for no reason, just wanna meet up for a chill, so decided to go back to school. I had the Chicken Cutlet from BizPark:) Last night was figuring out the name of our Biz Sch canteen, Was asking Hong, izzit Bizfile? Biznet?? Ahaha, all wrong, those are systems we used in office for E-filing at ACRA. Ya, so its Bizpark.

Thumbs up for Chicken Cutlet!!! Its sucha hugh portion and it only cost me $2.60. Nearly puke, after eating, so bloated eventhough i cant finish it.

Was pestered by Hong the whole afternoon. L L L L L LLLLLLL~~~~~ Cant stand it man! Wats so nice abt L? The eyeliner?? My sista, another one! Sent the L’s Hp theme to my hp and i have to resend it to tt Hong on her be1/2! Wat is this?? And, they were fighting over L!

Anyway, yup, overall, its a good day. Didnt take loads of pictures as intended, but its ok, cos its kinda wierd too, to take pic of TP. Maybe its guilty conscious, keep thinking we are not students already and were afraid that other pple will notice us.

ARgh, when its time to jot down all the silly thots, i cant recall them!!! HATE IT HATE IT!!! The feeling of, u noe thr is something to remember, but you juz can recall them!!!

Anyway, its good that i thot of 12 things in 15 minutes… In average, it took me 1.25 minutes for each item.

CNY has been fine, as usual, home visits, smiling and receiving anybaos on my mummy’s behalf. I have been telling lies to many pple, you noe, to save all the troubles of explaining details and things that im not even sure abt. Yes, i feel bad too, but… Its all white lies!

Relatives: "Whr you working now?"

Me: "Oh, same loh, suntec. Erm, the same lawfirm?"  (complimentary *FAke Smile*)

RElatives: "Oh, good ya, work in lawfirm. Ok?"

Me: "Oh, haha, ok la, not so bad." (complimentary *FAke Smile*)

Can u imagine how many times i’ve repeated myself? Many Many Many times! Thats why, its good that i planned my 3 lines well structured answers!

This year is a little tiny winy mini different. The boyfren attended CNY Reunion dinner at grandma’s house, went grandma’s hse for visits with my family on both 1st n 2nd days. Hmmm…. Nothing great… But personally, i feel, its another step further that we took. CNY reunion at grandma’s house, means all my close relatives be thr, dinner together, and bf was thr, everyone starts looking at him like he is some alien some outter space, its natural, and its something that kept our hearts warm.

ANyway, i think the best part abt CNY is, I love the mandarin oranges!!! SO sweet and juicy! I hope CNY last for 12 months, then i can always have nice madarin oranges. Ok, thats a bit out of point.

Oh, and and and!!! THere are many good news that really made me happy during these 12 days! I have fren announcing ENGAGEMENT in MArch, I have Cousin announcing WEDDING DINNERS, I have Cousin’s baby boy celebrating 1ST MONTH anniversary… and many many many more!

HaPPy CNY EveRYOne… A bit late tho…

XCluding weekends, i have another 4 more working days to go!!! Teehee, have lots to do, but yet to be done. Anyway, thrs always tmr right… Nxt week really have to clear my things, update file status, clear my little IP DEpt. And the IP Dept, as intepreted by my sit-to-nxt, consist of one paralegal, one table, one computer and a wall of pink files.

Feeling sick… Need to take medicine and hopefully get better by tmr! Its the bf’s bday!!! *Havent got a present, rly have no idea wat to get* Anyway, have a good weekend!!!

I feel that its a very sensative period right now. I dislike it when people ask me, at this point of time, how am i doing, found new job? Studying? WAt im gonna do after 31st January. What shd i reply to the relatives during CNY? That i chose to be unemployed for a while? I have not been actively looking for jobs, because there are so many uncertainties right now, and of cos’ i wanna take a short New Year Break in between. SO, pple, if you ever bump into me, pls dun ask me tt question again. Give me a month or so, everything will be confirmed.

Its Tuesday, and its after Lunch. That makes another 12.5 days to go! Before, im outta RWW, b4 i start missing mass emailing, b4 i start thinking of my best sit-to-nxt to ask for advice cos’ she is my walkin dictionary, directory and yahoo googgle search in live form.

BLeah, i like, passing witten messages or letters with the sit-to-nxt, it makes me feel so in school. No one will catch us passing letters n threaten to read out loud to the department tho. SO it kinda lacks excitement! Wahaha! And a secret to all. The sit to next cant throw paper over to my table properly. After the third attempts that she failed, she tried folding the stack of letters into an aeroplane, hoping it will fly over to me! BUT SHE FAILED AGAIN… *FOOHUahuahuaha*

Anyway, im dying to leave the office for no reasons. Ok, maybe let me try to make up some excuses to make myself feel better.

1) I hate seeing DEATH-PHONY in the office. The part abt Death-phony, will share when i am in the mood to think n talk abt it. I doubt i will spend another brain cell of mine doing that.

2) I hate forcing myself to do things that i have no choice but to do.

3) I hate walking thru the CITY LINK every morning and evening. I feel like one mini pathetic ant, being squuezed and pushed among the crowd of kai- Su Singaporean.

4) I hate coming to the office, and start feeling germy and sick.

5) I Seriously hate MYSELF at work cos i cant help it but i tend to procrastinate with my work cos i rly hate doing them.

HHhhrrrrrr~~~ Is that all? I cant think of any other excuses to testify or prove how much i want to leave. Ok, the main reason might just be ME and MYSELF.

WHoa, looking at my desk now, its so messy, cant imagine i have to clear them in another 12 days time. Have to bring things home bit by bit. OH, talking abt having a messy table. No one beats the  sit-to-nxt! Her table is a Bermuda Triangle. Anything that lands on her table top goes disappear!!!

After lunch is always bored n slpy. "zzZZZzzz" as according to TIng is pronounced as "zit zit zit". YEs, so im suffering from the Zitzitzzz now. Since my best emailing buddy, YVON left the firm,  now our email list consists of dora n ting n myself. Started with a "burp" to irritate them, and within 5 minutes, we exchanged 15 emails, reaching a conclusion:

Its a brand NEw Year! A year to expect the least expected, be it good or bad or tough, will conquer them one by one!!!

I ended my 2007 nicely. Tendered my resignation on the very last day of 2007, didnt want to bring it over to the new year. I am not sure if i did the right choice, i may realise it might be the best job i could ever get. But i believe everything will turn out well in 2008!!!

Yes, so 2007 really ended with big smile in my heart, and the same with the start of 2008.
